Wings of fire….

“We are all born with a divine fire in us. Our efforts should be to give wings to this fire and fill the world with the glow of its goodness.”

Everything in your life is the reflection of the choices you’ve made.

Want a different result? Make a different choice……

~ from pinterest

Well, if only it was that simple.

I believe in choices. I believe in the fact that at any juncture in your life you do have a choice. However hard the options may be… you always have a choice

A few times, late in the night or very early in the morning, I get time to sit and reflect on life so far.. I stand by many choices that I made. But I have a few which – if only I could – I would go back and change. Life wouldn’t be dramatically different than it is today, but it could have helped forge stronger friendships, bruised fewer hearts, maybe made me a little wiser… but well… who knows?

Does everyone have these kinda choices in life – however small – that they wish to go back and change, or tweak a little so the consequence was different? May be not ‘life defining’ different, but in small ways that could have resulted in ‘happy-memorable’ moments in life..

For anyone who doesn’t, I am damn impressed!

Happy New Year!

2016 has been a constant reminder that life is too short and can end in the blink of an eye. Be good and kind to people before you’re gone! ~via (Quotes ‘nd Notes)

Happy 2017! May the world see sanity, kindness, honesty and peace ~ yours truly 🙂

All she wanted was to find a place to stretch her bones.
A place to lengthen her smiles and spread her hair.
A place where her legs could walk without cutting and bruising.
A place unchained.
She was born out of ocean breath.
I remind her;
‘Stop pouring so much of yourself into the hearts that have no room for themselves.
Do not thin yourself.
Be Vast.
You do not bring the ocean to a river.’
~ Tapiwa Mugabe

I live there…

―“I live there…
Far above the song-filled clouds,
where the dewdrops touch my skin so bare
I live there.”
― Sanober Khan, A touch, a tear, a tempest

“They say a good love is one that sits you down, gives you a drink of water, and pats you on top of the head. But I say a good love is one that casts you into the wind, sets you ablaze, makes you burn through the skies and ignite the night like a phoenix; the kind that cuts you loose like a wildfire and you can’t stop running simply because you keep on burning everything that you touch! I say that’s a good love; one that burns and flies, and you run with it!” ~ C. JoyBell C.

Dance of life

“The moment in between what you once were, and who you are becoming, is where the dance of life really begins” ~ Barbara Deangelis

Pighle neelam sa behta hua yeh samaan, neeli neeli si khamoshiyan, na kahin hai zameen na kahin aasmaan … sarsaraati huyi tehniyan pattiyan, keh rahi hai ki bas ek tum ho yahan … sirf main hoon meri saansein hai aur meri dhadkane, aisi gehraiyan, aisi tanhaiyan, aur main sirf main … apne hone pe mujhko yakeen aa gaya ~ Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

*This moment flows like a molten sapphire with deep blue silence, neither there is the earth nor the sky … the rustling branches and leaves, are saying that only you are here … only me, my breathe and my heartbeat, the deepness, the loneliness, and me and only me … all makes me believe in my existence*
